5 Feelings Every Pizza Lover Knows Well

As a bonafide pizza lover, there is hardly ever a time when I'm not craving pizza. Many people who don't love pizza the same way are confused by my passion, so here is some insight into the mind of the average pizza enthusiast;

1. Pizza is for every occasion

Any holiday, any party...pizza is the perfect choice. Even Thanksgiving! Listen, if there's one thing I'm grateful for it's pizza, and I will totally celebrate with it even on Turkey Day! Or Easter. Even banquets and graduation parties can be made better with pizza. And if you're having a party and in a pinch for enough food to fill a lot of people, the first thing to be done is order pizza.

2. Pizza is the perfect date

Pizza lovers are low maintenance. I mean really low maintenance. We are cheap dates. Let's order a pizza and stay in with movies! Perfection! You can never go wrong with a pizza date, ever.

3. Pizza is a gateway to a good mood

Whether it's anger, sadness, anxiousness, or any other negative emotion (especially hanger) pizza can fix it. If I'm sad, pizza will comfort me. If I'm mad, pizza will help me calm down. Pizza is the Alpha and Omega. Pizza helps put any pizza lover into a better mood, no matter what.

4. Pizza fixes problems

Period cramps, hanger, feelings of depression or despair. Breakups or arguments...pizza is a constant in a world that is ever changing. It can fix almost anything, at least for a little bit.

5. Pizza is a true Friend

Again, pizza is a constant. It can never let you down, it will always be there. In times of hunger, in times of need and despair, in times of celebration and happiness. Pizza is a friend for always.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
