Procrastination is something that almost every student struggles with when it comes to studying, doing homework or writing essays. We stay up all night to finish the work that we knew we had to do weeks ago and suddenly the deadline is in six hours. But do we ever really learn? The answer is 100% absolutely NOT.

1. When you sit down at your laptop determined to finish the 8-page paper for your 8 a.m. the next day.

We all start off like we are never going to sleep and we are going to knock out 3 pages in the next 15 minutes and nothing is stopping you.

2. When you think you have been working for hours and have accomplished a lot.

LOOK AT ME I HAVE BEEN WORKING SO HARD.

3. Then you realize you only have 1-page written.

4. You hit a wall and start thinking that this paper really doesn't mean anything to you.

Would it really matter if I just didn't do this paper? I mean how much will this actually affect my grade? This topic isn't even relevant to my life.

5. When you realize that this is your life and if you don't have a good GPA you won't graduate and if you don't graduate you won't get a job and you start freaking out.

Deep breaths, you can do it, GET IT TOGETHER MAN.

6. So you think that a "snack break" will do you some good.

Cake, Doritos, pizza rolls, nachos, nothing is off limits.

7. Then you get distracted by the littlest things and you stay focused on that for like an hour.

So you found a new game in the app store, you're going through old Facebook photos, you start trying to shoot tissues into the trashcan, whatever it is...it ISN'T what you're supposed to be doing.

8. Your friends then start texting you that they are finished.

They leave you wondering what it's like to be able to finally go to sleep or watch Netflix.

9. All of a sudden it's 3 am and your roommate asks why you aren't asleep yet

I'm sorry please don't let my groans of frustration and angry slamming on my keys keep you awake.

10. You're almost finished but you're beyond sleep deprived

You've hit the late night "ha-ha's", you've contemplated just dropping out and throwing your entire laptop at your teachers head, but you're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

11. After hours of work, it's finished and printed out.

You hold onto that paper tighter than anything and you slam it down on the teacher's desk and you walk away like you didn't stress out one bit.

Procrastination is world wide epidemic that can never and will never be cured. It's almost time for another for another paper and here's what procrastinators everywhere are doing about it:

Christmas Tree
History.com

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
