This time of year I'm supposed to be studying more, but in reality I study less. One more month. And with finals starting to creep up, it's easy to find ways to begin procrastinating studying. To encourage you through these next few weeks, Kevin Malone from "The Office" always provides some quality laughs.
Let Kevin's simple attitude on life give you a fresh perspective about the end of the year (and maybe make you laugh). These few weeks are a struggle, I understand. You got this.
1. When studying lasts about ten times shorter than in September:
2. When eating healthy food is a struggle and cooking becomes overrated.
3. When shortcuts are a daily occurrence.![]()
4. When there's no motivation to go to class. So sometimes you just don't go.
5. When the weirdest things will go unquestioned.
6. When crying happens more than usual because you're feeling hopeless about that GPA.
7. When that one guy in the group project doesn't do their part. And now it's actually almost due.
8. When you realize you binge-watched Netflix for hours instead of studying for your test.
9. When you have to constantly remind yourself that you're in class to achieve bigger goals in life.
10. When your professor assigns something that will require more than an hour.
11. When little things start to become harder.
12. When your only goal is to finish the semester for the sake of your sanity.
Thanks, Kevin, for the wisdom. May the laughs you provide possibly equal the number of hours I study this week. But even if the end of the semester is crazy, stressful, and full of minimal motivation -- praises for quality comedy from "The Office."
