Feelings during finals

1. I'M DONE has become a new personality

You're so done, that I bet you didn't even read that number; Let's just face it, we are all just DONE, but on the bright side we are soooooo close to finishing this semester. Don't look back, keep on chugging forward!! Choo Choo I'm ready to leave for summer!

2. What a beautiful day we are having! But I'm stuck inside AGAIN!!!!

Make the indoors just as pretty, sure by now most things are packed up but think how wonderful outside will be once you've gotten in a good study. Positive thinking.

3. But Netflix...

Don't be a Munster, get off Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, no more Buzzfeed quizzes, just get off your dang phone already and study, that status can wait, yea becoming part of the couch sounds nice but you'll deserve it more once finals are done.

4. Begging and praying for a C in THAT class

C's get degrees!

5. Everyone else has already driven you nuts, so all social interaction has been nonexistent for days now, then this happens...

You deserve a break, my friend

6. Constantly telling yourself there's more time to study, when there really isn't more time

Panic has become a constant state of mind.

7. Looking up tips on Pinterest or Google on how to save your GPA in a week

HOPE

8. Just a quick nap, yea that's what I need

Make sure you set an alarm

9. Utter misery

Pain is temporary, GPA is life

10. Hearing any dang sound is annoying

Find somewhere quiet to study, whether it be in the library, outside, just away from people.

11. I don't like this song... spends 30+ minutes trying to find a good studying song

Pick a song already.

12. The long awaited, finally done with the last exam

Good luck to everyone, now that you've taken a good long break from studying by reading this article, go get some food, take a shower, do laundry, go take a nap, and maybe study.

We don't buy into these... just like how we don't buy our friends.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
