Someone give me a one-way ticket to the Bahamas because Christmas break is days away from being over and I refuse to believe it. I can't even force myself to look at my class schedule and go buy more notebooks. Homework, essays and exams? No, thank you. I don't think I'm alone on this "no, please... don't let winter break be over" train of thought, so here are some internal feelings we all face when we realize the next semester is rearing its ugly head.
Finally reuniting with your best friends.
Time to order pizza and pick up where we left off on our Netflix binge watching.
Friend: "Are you ready for class on Wednesday?"
Me: "Class starts, like, two weeks from now."
Friend: "Class definitely starts on Wednesday."
Me:
AKA, the moment you realize your New Year's resolution to not wait until the last minute to prepare for things has already been thrown out the window.
Checking your class schedule and realizing you thought it'd be a good idea to sign up for 18 credit hours this semester.

Looking at the class list and realizing you have a class with your best friend.
Time to terrorize a professor and force your friend to let you use their notes when you don't want to show up.
When the person you secretly hates tells you you have a class together.
Great, now I have to figure out how to discreetly drop the class.
Checking out your syllabus and seeing your professor assigned 4 essays, 5 exams, weekly reading and homework assignments. Oh, and attendance is required.
Bye, Felicia.
When class starts tomorrow and you realize your winter break is officially over.
Still waiting for that one-way ticket to the Bahamas, guys... Anyone?
Good luck to everyone going back to school soon!
