February 10th was another exciting day for "Kingdom hearts" fans all over the globe. This is because the Disney’s D23 Expo, hosted in Japan, showcased a highly anticipated trailer for the long-awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3". Since "Kingdom Hearts" is a Disney version of the Final Fantasy franchise, the D23 Expo is typically where "Kingdom Hearts" fans get a lot of the big news about the game and this year was no different. At this point, there are a lot of rumors surrounding the game with little facts set in stone, as developers want "Kingdom Hearts" fans to have a special experience with the game once it hits store shelves.

Luckily, the trailer confirmed one of the biggest rumors that have sprouted in the past couple months.

The trailer opens up by presenting a new mysterious character that seems to be a member of the game's main antagonist group Organization XIII. The trailer is leaving fans guessing as to who this mysterious character may be, as the games main character, Sora, knows life about the mysterious character based on the conversation held between them. The trailer then cuts to a scene that shows the characters from "Toy Story" first glimpse at Sora and his companions Donald and Goofy.

The trailer then cuts the most important scene, which shows Sora, Donald, and Goofy standing in front of the scare factory from "Monster’s INC." with Sora reciting the famous "Monster’s INC." quote “We Scare Because We Care”. This was huge for "Kingdom Hearts" fans as it finally confirmed that there was a "Monster INC." themed world, which was only rumored before this trailer. We then see monster versions of Sora, Donald, and Goofy have their first encounter with the main characters from Monster’s INC., Mike Wazowski, Sully, and Boo.

The trailer then switches to scenes that show off more of the features that will be available while in combat. These scenes confirmed that there will, in fact, be “Monster’s INC.” themed summons as well as summons based on “Toy Story” and even “The Little Mermaid". These combat scenes also gave fans a better idea of how the "Monster’s INC.", "Tangled", and "Toy Story" themed world would look like and how special characters from each world could be utilized in combat.

The trailer ends by revealing that Vanitas, one of the toughest antagonists from the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise, would be making a return. At this point, fans were presented with the reassurance that the game is still scheduled to be released in 2018.

At this point, there is still very little known about the highly anticipated "Kingdom Hearts 3". We know that there will be worlds based on the "Toy Story", "Tangled", "Monster’s INC.", "Hercules", and "Big Hero 6" franchises. We also know that a lot of areas from "Kingdom Hearts 2" such as Twilight Town and Yen Sid’s tower will be making a return in "Kingdom Hearts 3". While we may not know much, the news that the game is still scheduled to be released in 2018 was vital to "Kingdom Hearts" fans as it proved that the 13-year wait for "Kingdom Hearts 3" is almost over.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
