February may actually be the worst month of college, and I mean worse than finals week. Why? More like, why not? It's flu season, cold, and all around gross among other things.

1. Everyone seems to be sick.

2. It's cold.

3. There is no snow.

4. People have trouble spelling it.

5. Midterms are just around the corner or are this month.

6. There are probably at least a few weeks until spring break.

7. Dry skin.

8. Pro football season comes to an end.

9. The trees are bare, but not in a pretty way.

10. It's windy.

11. Everyone is coupling up for the holiday.

12. Basketball is the only major college sport right now.

13. You probably already are tired of dining hall food again.

14. It's only a month into the semester but it feels like an eternity.

15. You want to wear something other than sweaters.

16. The most exciting thing that isn't about love is Groundhog Day.

17. It's February.
