It's that time of year again. Every YouTuber in existence is going to do a 20-minute video on all the things they love just because it's February. Why not hop on the gravy train? These are the things I can't live without this February.
1. Calvin Klein's Obsession Perfume.
It smells like you dropped yourself in a boat of caramel and lust, and I love it. I found a little bottle at Goodwill for 99 cents and it's SO GOOD.
Retail: $32.39 / 3.4 oz.
2. OGX Macadamia Oil Shampoo.
You always hear about Moroccan argan oil, coconut oil, olive oil...but macadamia oil? Giant Eagle had a 50 percent off sale on it, so I figured why not? It worked out much better than I expected! This is one of the most hydrating sets of shampoo and conditioner that I've used, and my hair responds really well to it. To get my hair to respond well to anything is a dang miracle.
Retail: $7.99 each.
3. OGX Kukui Oil Hydrating Spray.
My hair eats this up like I eat at a buffet. The spray bottle as opposed to the dribbly/squirty bottle, or the pump bottle is what really sold me. I can spray this on my brush and distribute it evenly through my hair in sections without ever overdoing it. And it makes all the difference on my hair's frizz. It's more of a dry hair oil though.Retail: $7.99.
4. SheaMoisture SuperFruit Bar Soap.
Retail: $4.99.
5. CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser.
I bought this Fall 2014, and I still have at least half a bottle left. I use it every time I shower because I'm not one of those goddesses who can splash their face with water and not choke on it. You can feel the suds smoothing that weird grainy texture your face gets when you're dirty and sweaty, and you don't need to use a moisturizer or anything afterward. And, as somebody who's had a facial formula made for sensitive skin give me a chemical burn, I can say this is actually perfect for sensitive skin.
Retail: $12.99.
6. OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Elevated Finish Spray.
I don't use this very often to hold an actual style, but I use it when I wear a ponytail and don't want all the frizzy flyaways on the top of my head. This does the best job and makes my hair super shiny and not at all chunky and matte like some hairsprays.
Retail: $9.99.
7. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Clarifying Solution.
For such a simple solution, it really does the job. I've really never had an acne medication keep me from getting breakouts. I usually just use them and get the breakouts anyway, and then use them more often to make the redness go away faster. I've never not had some kind of breakout around my mouth, and I still have some redness and scars, but very rarely do I actually get raging pimples that demand attention. Imagine if I were rich and used the whole set. Wowza.
Retail: $14.99.
8. Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Spray.
Admittedly, I've only used this once because putting sea salt on dry, heavily bleached hair is never a good idea. I bought it on super clearance and tried it once to make sure it was worthy of keeping for an eternity until my natural hair grows out. It most certainly is. My hair was really wavy and pretty (if you don't count all the frizz and dryness from putting salt on bleached hair). I'm waiting, eagerly, until this can become a regular product for me.
Retail: $15.
9. Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream.
I don't really have any flaws on my skin to "perfect," but this lotion has a nice tint to it that keeps my legs from looking ghostly white while also maintaining a natural color. It's not a fake tan, nor anything super greasy. It's basically just a tinted moisturizer that goes on your legs and not your face. Simple, but it makes all the difference when the summer heat makes you want to show some skin.Retail: $12.99
