1. Hillcrest Farmers Market
If you're like me and love going to the farmers market, you have to visit this one! This is by the far my favorite farmers market in San Diego. It is held every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The vibe, food, live music and fresh fruits are what keeps me coming back to this specific one. It also gets pretty packed, but no worries! If you can't find parking close by, they offer free shuttle buses at two parking lots.
2. Suspension Bridge
This bridge is also located in Hillcrest! This bridge is a great spot for photographs with a peaceful atmosphere. You can walk across it with friends or hang out on the middle of the bridge looking down below at all the greenery and flowers.
3. Public Market
If you're from San Diego and haven't been to Liberty Station in awhile, check it out! There has been so much growth in the past year. The Public Market holds so many different vendors! Whether you're looking to grab a bite, get your coffee fix or look for some cute succulent decorations the Public Market has it!
4. Flower Fields
A little north of San Diego is the Carlsbad Flower Fields. All those cute recent Instagram posts with fields of flowers are probably taken here! There are so many beautiful flowers to look at while sipping on a strawberry smoothie or lemonade. There's also a play area for the kiddos!
5. Cowles Mountain... At Night
Every time I say this to someone they look at me like I'm crazy, but trust me! Bring a flashlight with you and a group of friends. The best time to go is during sunset. You won't be the only ones out there so don't be afraid. As it gets dark you'll look at the top of the mountain and see everyone's flashlights up above twinkling like stars. By the time you get to the top you'll be surrounded by real stars and looking down at all the city lights.
6. La Jolla's Cave Store
This secret spot is a quick fun adventure. Inside of the Cave Store, there is an entrance inside one of La Jolla's caves. There will be a dark stairway with lights guiding you down and once you get to the bottom you'll see the opening gap of the cave. You'll see the waves crashing against the rocks and possible kayakers taking their tour. It's definitely a view to see at least once, and the sounds of the crashing waves will surely soothe you.
