Photography is something I enjoy very much, and I enjoy sharing my photography with people, so here is some of the photography I have taken recently.

This photo was taken in my backyard back home. I love looking at star photography, so I decided to try it out. It took a few nights, but I eventually got it, and one night I got this picture. That streak of light on the trees is actually from the headlights of a car driving by!

I enjoy getting unusual perspectives or doing other unusual things to get cool photos. This photo of the chapel is one example of this. I walked to the middle of the quad, got on my stomach, and zoomed in so that I could get the out-of-focus grass in the foreground, because I knew it would add a lot to the photo.

Leading lines are another favorite photo technique of mine. They lead your eyes into the photo and provide some very interesting detail. I enjoy this photo because the shelves provide a cool leading effect, and the colors are pretty cool.

This photo was fun. I took it one day while walking around campus taking pictures, but when I went to edit it, it didn’t look at all interesting, so I decided to mess around and try some crazy things. I ended up making it pretty surreal looking, and I think that this version is quite a bit more interesting than the original.

I enjoy photography very much and have appreciated the way I have been able to develop it and share it.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
