As you all know, we had a snow day this week which was the perfect time for me to catch up on my favorite films. Here are my top five movies that I like to have for a snow day marathon!

5. The Dark Knight

The best Batman and Joker film of all time!

4. The Wizard of Oz

I just love to revisit a special part of my childhood that is no longer here.

3. Guardians of the Galaxy

This film comes with battles in the galaxy, a side of comedy, Christ Pratt, a smart-mouthed raccoon, a tree alien that speaks three words: "I am Groot", and the best music from the 1970s/80s! What more can you ask for?

2. Yellow Submarine

The animation mixed with the songs of The Beatles is trippy, yet beautiful.

1. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

The snow day wouldn't be a snow day without watching the Lord of the Rings film trilogy! One of the best motion picture trilogies of all time!

What are your favorite films to watch during a snow day? Let me know in the comments below!

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?
