If you're anything like me, you love makeup. You also can't afford to cash out on certain products from time to time. So I've compiled a list of a few of my favorite makeup dupes for people like us who still want that glo without the price.

1. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($29)

Dupe: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ($6.49)

I swore by the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer for the longest time, until my friend suggested I try Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer. I was hesitant at first because I hadn't bought drugstore makeup since I was a freshman in high school. I had grown accustomed to buying the Radiant Creamy Concealer with the Sheer Glow Foundation and together they cost a total of $74. So I figured $7 is nothing compared to that, why not give it a chance? I wasn't really expecting much out of this product, but now I actually prefer using Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer over NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer daily. The NARS concealer is thicker and provides more coverage, but the Maybelline formula is creamier and blends more easily. I would also run out of the NARS concealer super quick compared to Maybelline's concealer (probably due to Maybelline's concealer being "wetter"). The huge price difference is an added bonus and the packaging for both concealers is very similar, as well.

2. Kylie Lip Kit in Dolce K ($29)

Dupe: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes ($6)

Why buy overpriced lipsticks and lipliners from someone who didn't even have lips until a year ago? You can find better quality lipsticks from credible makeup gurus for a more affordable price. But, if you want the cheapest and best dupe for Dolce K, definitely try the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes. You can also try ColourPop's Limbo as a dupe for True Brown K and these as dupes for Candy K.

3. NARS Blush in Orgasm ($23)

Dupe: Sleek Blush in Rose Gold ($6.99)

The NARS Orgasm blush is a cult classic. But $23 might be a little too much considering the vast majority of dupes available for it. Sleek Blush in Rose Gold comes close to Orgasm's color with a slightly more gold shimmer and less than half of the price.

4. MAC Nylon Eyeshadow ($16)

Dupe: NYX Barely There Eyeshadow ($4)

Perfect to use as a highlighter too!

5. Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette ($50)

Dupe: CoverGirl Roses TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette ($9.49)

This is a spot-on dupe. The only difference between the two palettes is that you get 12 colors to choose from in the Naked 3 palette compared to eight in the CoverGirl palette.

Get your coins worth.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
