I wrote before about what your favorite Rory Gilmore boy says about you, but I decided it's time to take a look into the life of her mother. We all love Lorelai Gilmore and her quirky ways, but we mostly love the relationships we see along the way. Here is what your pick for her says about you.

1. Christopher

If you loved Christopher then you believe in second chances, and thirds, and fourths. There's something about young love that comes back that sparks your interest. You're the romantic type and you wear your heart on your sleeve. Love is important to you, and the idea that it never fades is something you hold onto tightly.

2. Max

If Max was your pick then you are very practical. Life should be easy and as should love. Things should fall into place and hopefully not fall out of them. You want someone who you can lean on and trust. You don't like difficulty and love shouldn't be difficult. When you fall in love you want it to be simple. You'll want to think to yourself, "it's been here the whole time."

3. Alex

Picking Alex as your man, I mean Lorelai's man, means you like a mystery. Love should have something interesting about, or maybe something spontaneous. You never know where it's gonna go next. But you also don't like attachment. You might run away from love or you might not care to see it go far.

4. Jason

While looking for a picture of Jason none came up of him smiling and I think that about describes this one. If you liked Jason then you also like practical, but not in the safe way of Max. You like practical in the sense of being comfortable financially. You like a little bit of rebellion in your life, but also someone who is going to take charge.

5. Luke

If Luke was who you saw Lorelai with the whole time then you like happy endings. You like the comfort of someone warm who you can spill your soul to. You tend to root for the underdog, but you never really see them as the underdog. You want everything to work out how you imagine it to in your head. When it comes to a man, you want someone to be there for you and you'll be there for them.

Lorelai Gilmore had quite the array of men throughout the seasons of Gilmore Girls. No matter who you wanted to see her with, watching her relationships progress was always interesting. The drama of her life is a good distraction from the drama of your own. When in doubt, live vicariously through Lorelai Gilmore.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
