The 73rd Annual Golden Globes recently concluded, and this was my favorite award show Red Carpet thus far. There were so many beautiful stars who stunned in their high-fashion gowns. The Golden Globes are all about elegance and class, and these four stars really embodied the true essence of the Golden Globes.

1) Lily Collins

The Rules Don't Apply star amazed everyone at her first Golden Globes wearing my favorite designer, Zuhair Murad. The details are exquisite and the lace is perfectly symmetric, giving a medieval-modern look. There is not one thing that I do not like about this look. Its stunning while not being over the top, yet it is still unique enough to stand out.

2) Hailee Steinfeld

Continuing the pastel theme, first time Golden Globe Award nominee, Hailee Stienfeld rocks this custom lavender gown by Vera Wang. This color compliments her skin tone and looks so effortlessly elegant. It's mesh and cut out details make it sexy yet still oh so classy.

3) Mandy Moore

It seems like flowy dresses were popular for this award show!! The This Is Us actress looks magnificent in this dark blue and black gown. The deep "V" neck with the cinched waist is a perfect way to show off her amazing body. Naeem Khan does it again with this plunging and dramatic gown.

4) Priyanka Chopra

Last but definitely not least, Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra combines edgy in elegant in her Ralph Lauren gown. The amount of cleavage is perfect and draws the right amount of attention to that stunning diamond solitaire necklace. Chopra is known for her dark lips during award show season, and this event was no exception.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
