What Your Favorite Go-To Drink Says About You

Everyone has a favorite drink, and if you don't, you simply haven't been to the bars enough. What you order at the bar is quintessentially your bar aura, if you will. This seemingly small and insignificant factoid opens a portal to a much larger and deeply complex part of your personality...at least that's what I've heard.

Ever wonder what everyone thinks of you when you order your go-to drink at the bar? Well, here's your answer, my party people.

1. Classic Martini

You ordered this on your 21st birthday because you wanted to appear literate in drink terminology, and now you can't stop ordering it because you like to look fancy.

2. Margarita

You like to have a great time, especially with tequila in your system. You often become the life of the party, but it sometimes comes crashing down along with the table you were just standing on.

3. Manhattan

You probably just started watching "Mad Men" and are obsessed with the '60s-'70s era New York. You like to sit in smoky bar rooms with red velvet seat covers and stare at nothing in particular.

4. Rum and Coke

You know what you like and you stick to it. You have an edgy side and are often found wearing a black leather jacket or sipping your drink while judging people.

5. Long Island Iced Tea

You pretty much just like to get wrecked. You also haven't experimented with any other drink but you claim this is the best. You want the best of all worlds and can't settle for just one kind of liquor. No one questions you because when provoked, you'd probably fight them.

6. Cosmopolitan

Hey, how are ya Carrie Bradshaw? You think you're a classy broad, but everyone just thinks you're a try-hard. Sure, looks delicious but can you dance with a cosmo in your hand? Please.

7. Vodka Soda

You're a minimalist. You're watching your diet and don't mind the taste of straight vodka burning your tongue. People think you're crazy but you took the time to read up on caloric values of every drink imaginable.

8. Vodka Cranberry

You're a minimalist who enjoys life and things that are good in the world. You like the taste of vodka but thinks the vodka soda person is absolutely NUTS. You need a little bit of sweetness in your life to balance the not-so-sweet. You're also probably freshly 21.

9. Wine

You usually prefer staying home instead of hitting up the bars. You can't argue with this one, I know for a fact that you have 5 bottles on your bar cart waiting for you when you get home.

10. Bloody Mary

You're probably hungover and have a few regrets from last night. You also might be a hipster who ruined the concept of brunch for every other person on social media.

11. Beer

You're low maintenance and easy-going. You are rarely seen dancing on tables, dancing on chairs...or dancing in general. You can get a bit rowdy but all in good fun.

This just in from the bar aura headquarters: Doesn't matter what your favorite drink is as long as you're safe and have a good time.

I think we can all drink to that. Cheers!

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

Fandango

There are a lot of foods in this world, but there is only one dish that stands above the rest: Pizza. If you're close to me or at least know who I am, then you know that I'm totally obsessed with pizza. It's one of my favorite things to eat and I will NEVER turn down a slice, even if it doesn't have my favorite toppings. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about pizza. I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
