What Your Favorite Color Reveals About Your Personality

There are different ways to describe your personality. Some people look into horoscopes, favorite genres of books, music, the way one presents themselves… But what does your favorite color say about you? These stereotypical, and maybe honest explanations may reveal some truth you didn’t know about yourself!

Red.

You love the lavisher things in life, and you are the most ambitious person in your friend group. Your spontaneous attitude draws in people who wish to have a good time, because you always know how to make people feel special and alive. Your authenticity brings out the authentic and wild side of people.

Pink.

You can never be too sassy. If your favorite color is pink, you will own countless pink things: pink water bottles, pink laptop, rose gold phone cases, maybe a pink backpack. You can never have too much pink. You love to create things and make the best of any situation with your bubbly personality and the will to always be happy. You encourage people to live in the moment.

Orange.

You may be one of the spunkier people of your friend group. You’re not afraid to speak your mind, and you can be incredibly blunt. People go to you to talk about new ideas, because you are always open to something new. You love weird and crazy things and you’re not afraid to show it.

Yellow.

You are one that sees the sunlight in any human. Your optimism and kindness encourages others to speak as kindly as you do. You aspire to help people around you, and you are the best at making others smile when they look down. You believe that anything is possible.

Green.

You are a nature lover. Your love to roam around anywhere without any shoes shows your passion for adventure. You are incredibly generous to your loved ones, but be careful not to let others take advantage of your kindness. Many want to be your friend because of how understanding and compassionate you can be.

Blue.

You love to be calm and have yourself together, and you can gaze at the sky for days. People who love blue are incredibly fond of the ocean and the sky because of how infinite it is. People go to you for advice, because you demonstrate a balance between optimism and realism. You have a fondness for genuine acts of kindness and sweet desserts.

Purple.

You are full of mysteries and tend to surprise people. It’s hard to tell what is on your mind because you’re thinking about everything at once. Your loving attitude draws in genuine people, and people who love to cuddle. Your love for your family encourages others to think about their families more. You truly know how to appreciate the people you care about.

Obviously, these stereotypes may be completely inaccurate. Or maybe they reveal something that you didn’t know about yourself, or your friends. Maybe someone’s favorite color says a lot more about them than others think! And, of course, there are many, many other colors with different personalities.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
