My Favorite Classic Christmas Movies

With Christmas being this past weekend I wanted to reflect a little bit on the holiday. One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season is watch Christmas movies and lets just say that I was not able to watch as many Christmas movies this year as I would have wanted to. It was a busy year and a busy couple months leading up to the Christmas season but with that being said I always try to make time to watch the classic Christmas movies. This year that time is just going to be a little bit after Christmas day but that's alright because for me the Christmas season never dies and if I have to watch these movies after the holiday itself I will just fine. Now, I'm sure you're wondering what movies I'm talking about, right? Well I'm sure you have some guesses already because I've said the "classic Christmas movies" but let me just tell you some of my favorite ones.

1. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie (1998)

Here are two clips from this movie.

2. Prancer

3. Home Alone

4. National Lampoon's: Christmas Vacation

5. It's A Wonderful Life

6. Miracle On 34th Street

7. The Santa Claus

8. The Polar Express

9. A Charlie Brown Christmas

10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

11. White Christmas

12. The Year Without a Santa Claus

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
