Nothing makes me happier then showing my love of God to others

My Favorite Bible Verses For November
Laurent Dick

I sort of fell off doing my regular bible studies because school got in the way and I never had any free time to do what I used to do before! Now im back on my grind and found some of my new bible quotes that I think can help other people in a time or need or any time they need a little pick me up,

“We never give up. Our bodies are gradually dying, but we ourselves are being made stronger everyday. 2 Corinthians 4:16

How beautiful is that? Think about it, every single day we get weaker even though we don’t feel it. We don’t get younger everyday we get older. But our minds mentally everyday endure and go through things that make us stronger in that way. You are not as weak as you were a week ago but you are not as strong as you were a week ago. I never thought of life that way. Things happen in your life that can impact you and it makes you tougher and stronger and your body might not feel the same way but mentally you start to know the good the bad, and can make sure your mental health and happiness gets better every single day.

Proverbs 13:3”

Everyone loves to gossip. Good or bad it is in our natural self being to gossip. One thing that we cannot do is destroy someone’s name and make him or her seem as something they are not. If you don’t like someone keep that within your self and instead of talking bad about them how about you take their mistakes and make sure you never make one or never turn into that person. You talking bad about someone is putting you on the same pedestal as them because you are not respecting them. We are all the same to an extent, we all have dreams and aspirations so how about instead of talking “careless” you turn it into a positive and do something that makes you a better person! If you don’t enjoy someone’s presence or being then don’t speak about them at all and erase that from your life path.

“Before horses are ridden into battle, they paw at the ground, proud of their strength. Job 39:21

This bible verse reminds me of something my dad would tell me growing up. He would always say “ you are the #1” and would make me repeat it over and over again. I didn’t understand why and thought it was silly back then until now that I am older. Horses paw at the ground ready and stand straight and tall to be ready to face whatever comes their way and that is how we should all be as well. We should be proud and strong of who we are because there is not another you on this earth. Even if you are a twin, your twin has different fingerprints and a different voice. We are all so authentic so being strong and unique is what we can all offer the world.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
