In this video I explain how these badass Saabs came to be 1000hp monsters! You'll also get to see footage of them in between heats during an SCCA event at Pocono Raceway back in August of 2015.

I also briefly discuss why it's important to take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt, and to only read the news you want to read. You might think this sounds stupid, but it is important that we gather well rounded information, and not just what we see on our Facebook feeds, or main sources of info - whatever that may be. Watch the video to hear my explanation on this.

*Below you will see a Facebook post of mine that is used to lead the thoughts of this video*

"People want to act like interactions on social media carry no weight. But most users log on every day, employers view the profiles of applicants, and we express our values via social media.

My closest friends believe that engaging with others who have opposing views on Facebook will just enforce the beliefs they already have, even if they might be ignorant/prejudice. The point of deliberation isn't to force someone to have the same views as you, but to give them a perspective they might not have thought of.

Some people don't appreciate the offering of alternative perspectives, and lash out because they feel like their beliefs are being invalidated (primarily due to misinterpretation). As adults we should have the capacity to understand that others may not have the same views as us, and this doesn't make them inferior, it makes them different.

I'll continue to write posts like these, and I'll continue to create Odyssey videos pushing the same kinds of thoughts. You might roll your eyes, but what are you doing to help relieve the polarization?

If you don't think it's important, think about the younger, impressionable generation growing up in the midst of this new mindset. The ability to deconstruct information presented to us is more important than ever due to our evolving relationship with the internet.

The internet can be such a powerful resource, don't waste it."

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
