The Ultimate Fast, Easy, And Fleeky Makeup Tutorial

Hi everyone!

Today I will be showing you how I do my makeup on a daily basis. All the products used will be said throughout the article, along with photographs. Hope you enjoy this easy, fast, and simple makeup tutorial!

xoxo

Bridget

Step 1: Skin Care

It is essential that your skin is prepped and primed for makeup. Any moisturizer or primer will do. Personally, I use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. Squeeze a pea size amount onto your finger, and apply all over the face for a natural glow.

Step 2: Foundation and Cream Contouring

Up next: foundation! My all time favorite foundation is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation. It is creamy and blends out perfectly with a brush or beauty blender!

For contouring, I always use the NYX Wonder Stick, a double sided cream based contour stick. Use the lighter side to highlight and brighten your under eyes, the bridge of your nose, chin, and underneath your cheekbones!

For a flawless bronzed look, use the darker side to add depth to the underside of your cheekbones, sides of your nose, and jawline.

To finish, simply blend out with the same foundation brush or beauty blender!

Step 3: Brows

The eyebrows in any makeup look are extremely important; without them, we would all look a bit scary. So, it is very necessary to compliment your face with the correct brow shape: high arches, soft arches, and straight brows don't look good on every face! I would suggest doing some experimentation with different brow shapes until you find your perfect match!

I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown. It is a cream based pigment that is meant to fill in your brows–not create new ones!

Step 4: Eyeliner, Highlighter, and Lip

Now we've arrived at the finishing touches! Your face is now a perfectly prepped canvas for some sharp winged liner, a poppin' highlighter, and matte lips.

I always go for the eyeliner first. Don't feel the need to go with the winged liner if your eye shape isn't suited for it! You could always line the top and bottom waterlines for a more defined eye. Here, I am wearing the Urban Decay Razor Sharp Eyeliner in black, and am applying the Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in the shade Illuminati for that ultra blinding highlight!

To top it all off, I applied my favorite Kylie Jenner Lip Kit in Kandy K. These matte lips last forever, don't dry out our lips, and smell great! This shade is the perfect pink nude for skin tone.

Step 5: Confidence!

No makeup look is complete without some glowing confidence. Yeah, your highlight is glowing so bright it's blinding, and you should be too! Always remember that with or without makeup, you are beautiful—inside and out!

Now, go out there and slay!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
