Top 4 Fashion Trends of Fall 2018

1) Flare Jeans:

All different styles, from the mini flare all the way to the full back to the 70's flare. All styles, textures and patterns welcome, actually the more the better.

A corduroy pastel pink flare is so in. Pair with a fun cropped graphic tee@Herosofdenton $46

The lined yellow corduroy flare. Compliment with a fun jacket.@AngryRabbit $30

TBH we just love a fun pant. GIVE ME MORE PATTERN. Always. @Herosofdenton $52

2) ANIMAL PRINT

Notice a theme yet? PRINT. ALL OF IT.

Snake skin. so mysterious, so sneaky, so good. If you aren't as bold as the photo just choose either the skirt or the jacket and pair with a solid. @Topshop $85

I stan this whole fit. The pants(flare might I add) are PERFECT with this top. this is a great transitioning from summer to fall outfit. @Endource 34 Euros

A whole snakeskin boot. Can you tell I like snake skin? With a skinny black legging or a more colorful wide leg pant. ????

3) Dressing a Casual Sneaker Up and Down

So much colorrr. Even though you think these might not go with everything, you would be surprised to find out that these will make a lot of clothes more fun and stylish. @Nike Air Force ones "easter" $90

Personally I love pumas, I think they are the perfect shoe. These can be a little more grudge, with the color and the platform, but can be perfect for anyone (especially the shorter ladies).@PumaFenty Cleated Creeper $60-140

The Veja, a classic French- Brazilian brand. These shoes are environmentally sustainable making them look even better... if thats even possible. @Veja V-10 $125

Of course another Puma shoe. These are a perfect light pink with the classic black line down the side to make them go with almost anything. @Puma Creepers $70-$125

4) Jackets... duh

A fun take on the classic denim jacket. spice it up this fall with some fancy embellishments on your denim. @FreePeople Patchwork Denim Jacket $198

This. Jacket. Is. Everything. To. Me. The beading. The color. The style. Everything. Goes well obviously with a light denim and a neck tie. @Anthropologie Admirer Beaded Jacket $358

We all know camo is in, I love this take on it with the artistic touches and the cropped and synched waist. I love the pairing with an oversized belt to balance everything. @Nastygal After Party Vintage On Duty Camo Jacket $70

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
