Fashion plays a huge factor in a girl's and even boy's everyday life. You gotta look cute, especially when you pass that one mirror. Am I right? Lately, "street style" has been very in. Don't know what that is? It's so chic, edgy, yet laid back and cute. Some call it 'basic' but it don't matter! I'll show you the top 21 items (found on Pinterest, of course) and some brands that are essential in order for you to keep up with the trend.

1. Hats

Preferably baseball hats and floppy ones for those girlier ones out there. For the more laid back ones, I'd say ball caps and of course beanies. Besides the beanies, they're all very versatile. You can wear them any season to be honest, doesn't even have to be sunny.

2. Chokers

These have been in for a while but they really add a up to your outfit. If you aren't a fan of jewelry like me, believe me, these you will love!

3. Choker Sweater

Speaking of chokers, this sweater is seriously the cutest. You don't even have to add a necklace or choker! Plus they're warm and can impress anyone!

4. Silky Shirts

Since we're still in winter, you can always add a cardigan or any kind of jacket on top of this very feminine, delicate top. It would look great on any body and any time in my opinion! Plus, you can always dress it up or down.

5. Body Suits (Leotards)

These you can also wear in the cold right now, as long as you later up! These are so cute tucked under jeans, leggings, or skirts! That way, it isn't too bulky if you were to use just a shirt. They're very flattering too!

6. Lace Up Shirts

7. Off-the-shoulder Tops

8. Bomber Jacket

9. Slip Ons

10. Nikes & Vans

11. Knee-High Boots and Booties

These two are a girly casual shoe for every-day work, college, high school life! I recommend to wear the booties with jeans because they look even better than wearing them with leggings since they are tighter. The knee-high boots would look good with jeans, but I think a skirt, dress or a pair of leggings would look better, more flattering and prettier in my opinion!

12. Adidas

You must have at least one thing in this brand! I love how this was a workout brand but this is being used a lot for that "street style." I think it is a great idea to be used like that, feels very European and Parisian. It makes any outfit very casual but extremely cute.

13. Calvin Klein

Another workout brand! It was also used as a more classy brand but I am glad there is an in-between. By that I mean a leisure kind of style that makes it look non-lazy! At least try the lingerie, I highly recommend, makes you feel more put together!

14. Tommy Hilfiger

This is a high brand, but lately I have been noticing that it has been used for "street style" too. This is a more basic one because you honestly just need a shirt or hat of that brand and you are good to go. This one isn't huge, yet but it is still a good staple to add to your collection!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
