The USA Network original series, "Suits" said goodbye to one of their main female characters, Jessica Pearson. Who is Jessica Pearson in this show? For one, she owns the main law firm, Pearson Specter-Litt. This title alone, from the beginning of the show, showcases the strong and powerful role this beautiful woman was going to posses over everyone (especially the men). Over the seasons, she has proven to her clients, business partners, and enemy's that she does not quit and fights for what she believes in. Aside from the fierce wardrobe she has throughout the show, here are top 10 quotes from Jessica Pearson that show she is a Bada$$.

1. When she shut down everyone that didn't believe in her.

2. Reminding everyone that she is invincible.

3. Reminding her senior partner that she is just as good as he thinks he is (ok she is better).

4. WHEN SHE LITERALLY REFERRED HERSELF AS JESUS BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE RESPECT HER.

5. When she put the weak men in their place.

6. #GirlPower

7. Full-time bada$$, part-time comedian for ignorant fools trying to belittle her.

8. Messing with her was the wrong thing to do.

9. #Burn

10. Such important scene. Really showcased the reason why she is such a highly regarded lawyer. Also, POC representation *emoji of hands clapping.*

Let's hope that the farewell isn't permanent. The firm will not be the same without this queen. Thank you, Gina Torres.

Sorority

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
