Farewell To Barack Obama

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."-Barack Obama

The date is November 8th, 2016. The United States of America is pressed with the decision of basically choosing the top or bottom socket of an outlet to stick a fork into. Yes, I am comparing self-electrocution to voting for the new President of The United States. We are given the choices of Mr. Donald Trump, billionaire who has been known to degrade those he disagrees with, as well as the man who just never learned the "talking stick" method of having a conversation. Or on the other side, we have Senator Hillary Clinton, who ran for the Democratic Nominee position in 2008, and has been in the news for her e-mails regarding Benghazi. I refuse to get into the specific details regarding these two candidates. I wouldn't even necessarily call them candidates, anyway. I view these two as America just playing a game of "Pin The Tail on The Donkey", and just seeing where the tail ends up. This article is not to take down any supporters of any side of this free-for-all battle royale. This article is to look at our most recent President, and give him the fondest of farewells. Mainly, because this country may not last another four years. All kidding aside, Barack Obama has been The Prez of Da U.S.A. for 8 years straight. Within these 8 years of him dealing with us whining Americans, he has not only accomplished some major progress with this country, but has also shown us how much of a savage he can truly be.

Slow-Jamming The News

This is just a nice little snippet of when President Barack Obama slow-jammed the news with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, but the entire performance can be found in the title link above.

Obama Kills Fly During Interview

Barack Obama might have been the one and only President to kill an insect on live television. I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty insane.

Obama's Anger Translator

Mr. President's anger translator, Luther, made a special appearance at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner earlier this year just to tell us all what Obama was really thinking.

There are a large number of instances when President Obama shut down reporters due to interruptions, heckling, protests, and for many other reasons. President Barack Obama, thank you for your 8 years of generous and vigorous leadership, even without having the entire country on your side. Thank you for creating and generating such a significant amount of progress within this already great nation of ours. Thank you for all of the times when you walked up to that podium, and realized that America just might need some humor to feel better on a specific day. Thank you for the incredibly hospitable family you brought into The White House once you were elected President, and I thank your family for being one of the best White House Families America has had. To find a family with no dirt and/or scandals against them is a lot harder to come by than you think. The torch of President of The United States of America will be handed off from you come January, and now there's nothing more you can really do. So, enjoy your Hawaiian vacation with your family, and don't worry about us fellow Americans, we'll be alright without you and your BFF Joe Biden. I think...?

Daily Fun Lists

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
