Fun fact about me - I have a twin brother! In honor of National Twin Day which occurs during the first weekend in August each year, I decided to answer some of the most frequently asked questions my brother and I have received about being a twin.

1. Can you feel when the other is hurt?

Too bad that this is just a myth. We swear we've had moments when we're apart where we feel like something is wrong with the other twin and had been right, though.

2. Who is the oldest?

Does this matter? (Although when I want to use the fact that I was born three minutes before my brother against him, then yes, it does.) We've also been asked which of us is smarter... we'll let you decide.

3. Can you read each other's minds?

We like to think so. This question makes us feel like superheroes, which we totally are.

4. Are you identical?

This one just makes us laugh.

5. Do you look alike?

We are twins, remember? Our blue eyes and matching hair color don't get overlooked.

6. Do you get along?

All siblings fight, and my twin is no exception. (We also have two younger sisters who join in.)

7. Are you close?

It's hard to be together for almost twenty years and not be. The longest we were ever apart was when the two of us left for college last year. It was hard at first but I soon realized he was just a phone call or short drive away. College definitely helped us gain more independence as well, but nothing can break that twin bond.

8. What's it like being a twin? Do you like it?

This question is tough to answer. Being a twin really is a lot of fun. Having someone by your side from the start is something that not many people get to experience. It's a pretty special thing to be and I wouldn't change it!

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
