Golden Tate Warriors
With Calvin Johnson retiring in the off-season, Golden Tate of the Detroit Lions is expected to see a jump in production. If his year goes anything like the Golden State Warriors, expect a huge year in the regular season followed by a gigantic letdown in the postseason.
Le'Veon a Prayer
With knee injuries plaguing him the past two seasons, combined with an expected 4-game suspension and the increased role of DeAngelo Williams, Le'Veon Bell is a big gamble this year. Pick him up and you'll find yourself saying a lot of prayers.
Game of Jones
Julio Jones is one of the best receivers in the league, catching two-thirds of the league-high 204 passes thrown his way last year. Look for Jones to dominate the playing field this year as much as Game of Thrones has dominated T.V.
Forte Year Old Virgin
Matt Forte joins the RB-heavy Jets this year hoping to continue producing even as he enters his ninth full season with over 2,000 career carries and 500 catches. The back will turn 31 in December, raising the question of how long he can hold up. Some fantasy owners, as well as the Chicago Bears, consider him past his prime.
A Zeke Outlook
Ezekiel Elliott finished his brilliant career last year at The Ohio State University before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the fourth overall pick. Elliott is expected to be the Cowboys' feature back from the start and with Dallas' strong offensive line, his outlook is anything but bleak.
All About That Bosa
Another former Buckeye, for Joey Bosa this summer has been all about that contract. Bosa has yet to reach an agreement with the San Diego Chargers, who drafted him third overall in last year's draft. Bosa hasn't been on the field with his team since June and they haven't even communicated since late July. One or both sides will need to compromise soon, as Joey could make a big impact right away as a rookie.
Eat, Drink and D. Murray!
DeMarco Murray's future was looking bright when he got traded to the Titans this year, but his prospects took a blow when the Titans drafted Heisman winner Derrick Henry out of Alabama. Murray has struggled when asked to share touches, as he did last year in Philadelphia with Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles.
Dez-ed & Confused
Dez Bryant was embattled last year with a serious foot injury and the injury of his quarterback, Tony Romo. With both of them coming back healthy this year, Dez should have a big year, as he did the three years prior to last. Bryant should be a first-round pick in all leagues.
Get Out Me Carr
Derek Carr is entering his third year with the Oakland Raiders this year, and his upside is looking better and better each year. Expect him to improve on last year's impressive numbers as he becomes more comfortable with receivers Michael Crabtree, Amari Cooper, and Clive Walford.
Drake's New Favorite Team
Aside from his rapping, Drake is known for his wheelchair-bound role on "Degrassi," a few infamous feuds, getting you in your feelings, and bandwaggoning. Drake has been seen on the sidelines of many up-and-coming sports teams. If you become his new favorite team then you can expect a championship on the horizon. Unless you're the Toronto Raptors.
Suh-icide Squad
Ndamukong Suh won't be relevant in most leagues as a defensive player, but that shouldn't stop you from using his well-known and easy-to-use name as a culturally relevant team name. If you're not a DC Comics fan, you could always go with the classic Kung Suh Panda as well.
Almost Jameis
Jameis Winston had a decently impressive rookie season last year. This year, he'll be looking to avoid a sophomore slump and improve on last year's campaign. The Buccaneers are facing a tougher schedule than last year, so it won't be (G-) Eazy.
Make America Gronk Again
Rob Gronkowski is the top TE in the NFL and one of the top fantasy options overall. His partying antics also make him a polarizing social figure, sort of like certain presidential candidates. Gronk is a sure bet to make your team great.
