Now that spring is upon us, people will be on the go. Whether it’s hiking, traveling, or just running errands, everyone will be enjoying the warmer weather.

When you’re on the go, you want to carry your belongings around with you. However, purses, backpacks, and bags can weigh you down. Because of this sad reality, I’m bringing back the best alternative: the fanny pack.

You might think I’m kidding. I’m not. Don’t believe me? Here are 8 reasons I want to bring fanny packs back.

1. They’re already coming back

Even without my help, the fanny pack is going to make its way back. I’m sure you’ve noticed its prevalence at summer camps, dance marathons, and the like.

2. They’re cute now

Fanny packs aren’t the ugly things they used to be. They now make cute ones that you’ll actually want to wear.

3. They’re so convenient

Why have a backpack or purse weigh you down or occupy your hands when you can carry your stuff on your hips?

4. They aren’t just for dads

I want to break the stereotype of fanny packs only being for touristy dads. They are for everyone!

5. They’re a conversation starter

Someone will always talk to you about your fanny pack. It’s an instant connection with fellow fanny pack lovers.

6. They’re spacious

You can hold way more than you think in a fanny pack. It rivals that of a good-sized purse.

7. They give you popularity

It takes a certain person to be bold enough to wear a fanny pack when nobody else is. I don't know about you, but I want to be friends with that person.

8. They’re underrated

It makes me so sad when people give fanny packs so much hate because I genuinely love them. They’re so convenient, fun, funny, and just genuinely great.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
