The holiday of Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for the life you have lived, what the future is going to bring, and for the people you have surrounded yourself with. The best part about this holiday is not just the insane amount of food you will consume, but the special memories you will make with your family. However, sometimes your family can get a little crazy, especially on the holidays! With the help of the cast from The Office, here are the relatives that will be joining you around the dinner table on this lovely day of celebration.
The Crying Relative
Everyone has that one emotional relative who can't believe how much you've grown in the past year and chances are, they are going to repeat that multiple times throughout the evening. They will also probably make a heartwarming speech before the passing around of plates of food and will no doubt shed a tear or a thousand. Although it'll get annoying to see them upset over the holiday, you know that they mean well and are only crying out of love.
The Relative With The Bad Laugh
This is the relative that no one wants to crack a joke around. They are usually cracking up way too much and about the littlest things. Sometimes, they will even bust out in laughter for no particular reason. Their ridiculous cackle will make everyone around the dinner table roll their eyes or maybe even chuckle themselves.
The Bored Relative
Unfortunately, there may be a relative this Thanksgiving that wants no part in attending a special dinner with loved ones. They just want to scarf down some food and take a nap before going out for some late night Black Friday shopping. They may look bored out of their minds, but they are secretly thankful for each person in attendance. Plus, they will probably cheer up a bit when the apple pie comes out.
The Relative That Hates Turkey
This is the relative that brought snacks with them to Grandma's house because they can't stand traditional food that is served on this holiday, like turkey or stuffing. They will secretly sit in the corner of the room and load up on whatever they brought with them so that they can use the excuse of "not feeling well" to skip out on dinner and just sit there for conversation. Then when the dessert comes out, they will miraculously start feeling better just in time!
You may get annoyed at your family often, but you will always be grateful for them and the crazy times you share together. Make sure this Thanksgiving is one for the books and tell each of your relatives how much they mean to you. I know it will mean a lot to each and every one of them!
