Fox

"Family Guy" is one of the best television programs of our time. I never thought that I would be a fan of adult cartoons until I heard Peter Griffin's scratchy voice calling out to his wife. If you don't like "Family Guy", you are probably just wrong. As a "Family Guy' enthusiast, I have determined the definitive ranking of the shows best characters.

9. Quagmire

I feel like Quagmire would be much more likable if he didn't give off such perverted vibes. I don't know how he has the power to make me so uncomfortable through a tv screen.

Best quotation: "Giggity, Giggity, Giggity"

8. Cleveland

Cleveland I loved you, but then you left me and I can never forgive you for that. And no one stopped watching when you left...so guess you never really mattered?

Best quotation: "It's sad when planes 'splode"

7. Joe

Okay does anyone else find Joe's voice extremely comforting? Like is that you Morgan Freeman? And if you don't like Joe, then you obviously are prejudice against disabled people.

Best quotation: "I just suggested a line of handicapable toys - ya know, to show the kids the fun of being physically challenged"

6. Meg

Definitefy the worst member of the Griffin family, but not everyone can be a winner Meg. It's bad when even your mom doesn't like you.

Best quotation: "I've never even been in a picture before"

5. Lois

Have you ever heard that the mother holds the family together? Well this is definitely true for the Griffin family.

Best quotation: "Remember, if you screw this up, mommy's going to kill all of your toys"

4. Chris

There is just something about Chris that really speaks to me. I definitely think he is the most underrated character on this show.

Best quotation: " I tucked it between my legs as a joke and then it got stuck."

3. Peter

Some would be surprised that Peter is not ranked number one because he has the most memorable quotes from the show. But Peter does not hold the show together like the characters in the top two spots.

Best quotation: "You'd better watch who you're calling a child, Lois. Because if I'm a child, you know what that makes you? A Pedophile. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna be lectured by a pervert"

2. Brian

Anyone that owns a dog would totally understand why Brian is ranked so high. And a dog that can tell jokes and be a world famous writer? No wonder I cried when he died for those two episodes.

Best quotations: "Her fists are so dangerous she's not allowed to be a lesbian"

1. Stewie

I love everything about Stewie, there is something about a baby that says incredibly inappropriate things that just makes everyone laugh. I will only have a kid if he turns out exactly like Stewie.

Best quotation: "Damn you vile woman, you've impeded my work since the day I escaped your vile womb"

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
