Some days we're winning at life and some days we aren't.
Here's a list of 10 things that we do that makes us feel like an awesome adult even though most days we're sure we shouldn't be let out in the world yet.
1. Running errands by ourself
I don't know if it's just me, but when I go run errands by myself whether it's to the bank or the grocery store I feel like I'm doing right when it comes to adulting. Look at me, being a badass, going grocery shopping by myself.
2. Doing laundry
But wait! Not just putting in the washer, but drying it, folding it and putting it away too! These days I know I'm running the world.

3. Emptying the lint dryer.
Since we're talking about laundry, emptying the lint dryer gives me a weird satisfaction when it comes to adulting.

4. Saving money
Even though I don't do this as often as I should, whenever I save money I think to myself, "watch out, billionaire Jessica 50 years from now in the making.

5. Spending your own money.
Now, this is something I am super good at, spending my money. However, there comes satisfaction when you buy your own shampoo or conditioner, or just your own things in general.
6. Cooking
I hardly cook but the rare mornings when I get up in time to make myself breakfast or pack my lunch in advance, I know I'm not only saving my bank account from the pain of eating out all of the time, but also spoiling myself to my mediocre cooking.

7. Pinterest
The number of Pinterest boards I have and the plans I have for my future kids, husband, and home make me feel like a super adult. I might have my whole life planned out but I have yet to have kids or more or less find a guy. A girl can dream. I'll pretend to adult on Pinterest for now.
8. Going to the gym, once every week if lucky.
I feel like a brand new woman when I get the chance to go to the gym maybe once a week if I'm lucky. I walk out of the gym feeling like I'm going to start a fitness blog or something. Crazy feeling, I'm telling you!

9. Having your own Netflix/Hulu Account.
Maybe I'm one of the few, but I do have my own Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime account. Even though I miss the money out of my paycheck every month, I am free to use my own accounts whenever I please and I don't have to worry about thousands of people on my accounts at once!

10. The beauty of a full tank of gas.
There is nothing more satisfying in this world than watching that needlepoint all the way to "full." Even though it pains me every time I fill my gas tank, I feel like such an adult with a full tank of gas and getting good prices with my gas app on my phone. Trust me, saving pennies when I can.
These are just many of the things that happen that cause me to feel like the best adult out there, but in the end, not all of us have it all together at the same time. So don't worry if you have $5.00 in your bank account or you haven't been to the gym, you're doing the best you can.
