Fall makes me think of warm bread, pies, and roasted pecans... however, I don't always have time to make those foods when I'm in a time crunch as I'm sure others don't either. Here are my go-to Fall recipes for when time is limited:
Flavored Seeds
1 cup of seeds (freshly from a pumpkin - washed & dried)
2 T of vegetable oil
1 1/2 T of a seasoning of your choice
1/4 t garlic salt
Saute seeds in oil for 5 minutes. Next, transfer seeds to a un-greased baking pan, add seasonings, and bake at 325 until crispy.
Sweet & Spicy Mix
1/2 cup of wasabi peas
1 cup of peanuts
1 cup of cashews
1/2 cup of cranberries
Mix ingredients together and serve.
Sweet & Salty Mix
1 cup of peanuts
1 cup of candy corn
1/2 cup of M&M's
1/2 cup almonds
Mix ingredients together and serve.
