There is just something different about the air as Autumn arrives. The promise of cooler days, better coffee, and notable fashion are welcomed in the mid September days as we girls unapologetically dress in our Frye boots and sip on our pumpkin lattes.

Every fall occasion that greets you during the final, chilly months of the year come with must have fashion trends. Fully embrace this harvest weather with style staples that will have you looking cozy and cute whether you're in the stands at a football game, going apple picking, or starting off your morning with a savory coffee.

1. Back to School

Take over your campus on a September morning with a pair of dark, ripped jeans and your favorite heeled ankle booties. A simple pop of color in a long sleeve blouse will make you comfortable if a breeze were to pass by and ruffle the newly colored leaves on the trees around you. This modest shirt is stylish enough to use as a fashion staple throughout the Autumn season as it gives you an appearance of sophistication amongst your class mates while the rips in your jeans make way for the edgy side of your style.

2. Game Day

Finally, the best part of your weekend is here. The lights on the field are illuminating the night sky as fans park in the muddy grass eager to embrace their Saturday night Autumn tradition. Stand out in the stands by staying warm in a simple, neutral, long sleeve shirt with a deep colored plaid vest. Match a pair of worn out jeans and your bean boots to compliment this casual outfit necessity. Want to bring in some school color? Let your vest provide your school pride by being your university's signature shades. Storm the field at the end of your winning game (if your style is on point, you'll obviously defeat the opponent team) with your bean boots.

3. Basket Full of Apples

This Fall tradition will have you looking calm, cool, and collected with a worn in plaid shirt and a neutral colored vest to further your outdoorsy ego. Picking apples at a local orchard will call for you to be simplistic with the accessories by adding a leather watch to your Autumn adventure and let it peek through your casually rolled up sleeve as you reach high for the prettiest apple. It's time to break out the Bean Boots again as you carry around your basket full of treats through the potentially muddy and hilly area while still looking snug and lovely.

4. The City

The arrival of Fall calls for a night out in the city. Strut through town in an all black outfit paving the way for a late night, elegant city adventure. As a tight leather jacket hugs your arms, stroll down the street in a pair of ripped, black skinny jeans to innovate your evening style. Be admirable in a pair of classic shades and a bold lip that screams you belong where the buildings are tall, where the lights go all night, and where the adventure never ends.

5. Pumpkin Latte Run

The long awaited pumpkin latte is calling your name on a Saturday morning. Start your weekend off right by wrapping yourself in a chunky scarf in a soft color to compliment that must have black and white long sleeve shirt. Bring out those ripped jeans again and make your style evident with a pair of camel ankle booties to further accent the dark shirt and jeans. Wait in line for your morning treat and then sip it outside as people admire your choice outfit for the daybreak. Cup your hand around the belly of that Starbucks cup to keep the warmth in your hands.

Daily Fun Lists

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
