The fall semester can be a stressful time of year. It's important to find the little things to help you relax and stay healthy. Nothing is more important than your physical and mental health, so do what you've got to. Here are some things that help me stay positive and happy during the semester.

1. Put your phone away.

2. Say yes more.

3. Actually go to office hours and meet your professors.

4. Come up with a schedule that is sustainable.

5. Make yourself some tea.

6. Keep a stockpile of healthy snacks.

7. Make time to relax with friends.

8. Go to more concerts and shows.

9. Take a long walk outside with your favorite soundtrack playing.

10. Find a book about something you love.

11. Attend campus events and meet new people.

12. Get at least 8 hours of sleep (most nights).

13. Drink lots of water.

14. Buy yourself flowers.

15. Keep a journal.

16. Find a new favorite movie.

17. Take a group fitness class.

18. Stop by a farmer's market.

19. Buy yourself something nice.

20. Take a hot shower.

21. Sneak in a nap.

22. Order food in and watch Netflix in your sweatpants.

23. Find a secret hideaway on campus where you can hang out between classes.

24. Chug a superfood smoothie.

25. Make some bomb dot com Spotify playlists.

26. Have your friends over for game night.

27. Hit up a sports event.

28. Make your bed in the morning.

29. Don't sleep in too late.

30. Find a hobby that brings you joy.

I know I'm excited for the Fall semester to roll in. Along with it comes the leaves, and pumpkin spice, and everything nice. Make sure to take care of yourself this fall and make times for things that bring you happiness!
