Fall is the best time of the year. The weather is cooling down, the trees are changing colors, and Friday night lights becomes more than just a Netflix series. Here's a list of the top 29 reasons why Fall is so great:

1. Cardigans

They go great with literally anything and you can reuse summer tank tops underneath them! It's really a win-win situation.

2. Pumpkin Spice Lattes

Yes ladies, they're back! Every girl's dream. The one and only...Pumpkin Spice Latte.

3. Flannels

Who doesn't love flannels?

4. Leaves

Fall leaves are absolutely beautiful! The red, yellow, and orange mixture looks like something from a painting masterpiece.

5. Apple Cider

The only thing better than apple cider is hot apple cider.

6. Football games

Nothing beats the feeling of going to your school's game on a Friday night at seven. The cool, Fall feeling in the air. The whole town coming together to support their team. Soak it in while you can because it doesn't last long!

7. Cinnamon everything

8. Boots

Fall boots are definitely the cutest. Whether it's combat boots or riding boots, they are the perfect footwear for every outfit.

9. Leggings

Match up a giant sweater with a scarf and leggings. Wow, did I mention how much I love Fall clothes?

10. Pumpkin patches

Go get yourself a pumpkin with some friends and make a jack-o-lantern! I don't care how old you are, carving pumpkins is always fun no matter what age.

11. Halloween

FREE CANDY!

12. Apple orchards

13. Scary movies

The best scary movies always come out around this time! If you love scary movies, then let's be best friends.

14. Corn maizes

15. No shave November

This is not just a male tradition. We all know that girls take part too. No shame!

16. Hay rack rides

Something about being pulled by a tractor while sitting on a hay bale just feels so much like Fall.

17. Cool weather

18. Haunted houses

19. Ghost stories

20. Pie of all kinds

21. Beanies

22. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is arguably one of the greatest holidays of all time. You get to spend it with your family, get off from work/school, all while eating food. It really doesn't get much better than that.

23. Scarves

Every girl owns at least 10 scarves if not more. How can you not resist buying more when they're so cheap and so cute! Plus, they are the perfect accessory for everything!

24. Sweatshirts/jackets

25. Wool/cozy socks

26. Bonfires

Roasting marshmallows while hanging out with friends around fire is one of the best ways to spend an evening.

27. Scentsy smells

I'm not an expert on this topic because I can't smell, but I hear that this is a huge perk of Fall.

28. Fall Decorations

29. No more dieting for summer

Hasta la vista summer bodies. We'll try again next year.

Welcome to Fall everyone!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
