Spruce up your house and outfits with some budget-friendly stores that can fuel your fall fever on a budget. Whether you're after some great fuzzy socks or looking for a sticker collection, these are five good places to score some great deals.
1. Dollar tree
Looking for non-traditional goodies for kids? Stop the search and head to your closest dollar store. They have a variety of cute party supplies and favors that are sure to be a crowd pleaser...or your family whom you have been in quarantine with for seven months.
2. Target
Pumpkin spice and everything nice. Not only do they have that glorious, frugal clearance section up front everyone knows. They also have tasty baking options. Did you know that you can now make a halloween cookie house decorated in candy like you would for christmas? Genius. Don't forget the spice cake mix!
3. Walmart
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. They have a huge selection whether it be the globs of candy you're after, mugs, costumes or festive Halloween leggings, it might be better for your bank account to leave your girlfriend at home for this visit. Surprise her with fresh pumpkin!
4. At Home
This is a one stop shop for those of you who like to go overboard on decorating. They have halloween stuff out as early as July if I remember those days I went out for something other than a drive- thru. Pillows, blankets, and skeletons galore. One of my favorites is a candle that when it melts, looks like it's bleeding.
5. Goodwill
My girlfriend is an avid thrift shopper and she swears by this one. You never know what exactly you'll find but that's part of the fun. Around Halloween time is no exception. They have shirts, costumes, decorations, plates, lights, and even some never used cosmetic products to complete your disguise. Plus if you don't see something in the seasonal section, there is a plethora of unique clothes you can put together for your own costume idea!
