Fall. That beautiful time of year when trees are turning different colors, sweater weather begins, and they start putting pumpkin in literally everything. Although the official start of Fall won't come until September 22, you can already see signs of it everywhere, so I've compiled the top 10 things that make Fall truly Fall.
10. Flannel Fridays are back
Although you can wear flannel everyday if you so choose, Flannel Fridays are definitely back. In fact, as I write this article, I am wearing a flannel and it is also Friday.
9. Those sugar cookies from Pillsbury
Best. Freaking. Cookies. In. The. World. Enough said.
8. The Fall Starbucks Menu
Pumpkin Spice Latte, Chile Mocha, Salted Caramel, and so, so, so many more. Starbucks and many girls that are a.k.a White Girls live for this time of year.
7. Sweater Weather
Just to go with that Starbucks latter (whatever flavor your darling heart desires). Make sure you are wearing a cozy sweater because it really brings the image together.
6. Scary Movies
Somehow scary movies just seem so much scarier during the Fall. Maybe it's the longer nights...or the howl of the wind at night...we may never know.
5. Fall Activities
Stupid name for fun things like: pumpkin picking, apple picking, drinking hot chocolate, bonfires, baking, cinnamon, other things. We all have an imagination people...use it.
4. Halloween
Probably one of the best holidays of the year. You get to dress up literally as whatever you want and people can't say shit. Plus you get free stuff. Seriously fantastic stuff.
3. 13 Nights of Halloween
THIS IS HALLOWEEN. THIS IS HALLOWEEN. HALLOWEEN. HALLOWEEN. EVERYONE HAIL TO THE PUMPKIN SONG. This is probably the best part of Halloween.
2. Thanksgiving
Although towards the later end of Fall it never the less is still a beautiful tradition of loads and loads of delicious carbs and tryptophan. Ahhh, I can taste the stuffing now.
1. MOVE IN DAY
There is no event that heralds the start of Fall quite like move in day (or school starting for all my commuter friends and friends that are still in high school). A day when finally you begin to have your independence back from your loving fam.
