West Virginia, the Wild and Wonderful state. In a world constantly changing and advancing with technology and industry, it's nice to escape to a state where the wildlife culture is showcased, especially with the leaves changing. These places are a must see for any traveler this fall.

1. Valley Falls State Park. Fairmont, WV.

Just outside of downtown Fairmont, Valley Falls is the perfect location for a family event or picnic. The combination of the view and sound of waterfalls make it impossible to not fall in love with this West Virginia location.

2. Coopers Rock State Park. Morgantown, WV.

Coopers Rock is a perfect spot for your favorite adventure junky. From hiking trails to pavilions and overlooks, Coopers Rock has a way to catch anyone's eye.

3. New River Gorge State Park. Fayetteville, WV.

New River Gorge, approximately 900 feet over the New River, is not only breathtaking in itself, but the view overlooking it is nothing less than beautiful. Whether you're the dare devil bungee jumping on Bridge Day, October 17, or just enjoying the view this multimillion dollar structure has to offer, you're sure in for a treat.

4. Black Water Falls State Park. Tucker County, WV.

Black Water Falls, an eight-mile long gorge, offers not only a beautiful view, but also a stay in one of the many cabins. This park offers anything from hiking and boating courses, to dining and skiing.

5. Harpers Ferry Jefferson County, WV.

Harpers Ferry, a beautiful town with a history, gives tourists not only a beautiful view, but a taste of West Virginia History. This town offers not only trails and museums, but a beautiful view of the Potomac and Shenandoah River.
