Fall is upon us, that means, orchards, pumpkin everything, scary movies, costumes, and the list goes on! If you are looking for some fun and things to do with friends this fall, than read on!

1. Go to an orchard

Nothing says fall like picking apples, drinking cider, and walking through the rows of apple tress and fields of pumpkins.

2. Watch a scary movie

Scary movies are not for everyone, but you have to try to watch at least one during the spooky season.

3. Make halloween costumes together

Grab your friends and head to a craft store. There are so many easy and cheap costume ideas on Pinterest, it just takes a little craftiness.

4. Go out for coffee

Coffee is great any time of year, whether its Starbucks or a cute little coffee shop, its sure to put you in a cozy mood.

5. Take a tour of the fall colors

Hop in the car and take a drive through your neighborhood or down some country roads and you are sure to get some of the best views of the changing colors.

6. Go to a haunted house

I do not think I have been to haunted house since middle school, but never the less they are an essential part of the spooky season. Go with some friends and see who gets spooked the most!

7. Go on a jog or walk

Jogging through the crisp fall air is such a good feeling, so go now while its not dripping hot or freezing cold.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. I'm not complaining, because I'd rather have a whole week off than three days, but there is a lot of down time. Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.

For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
