Why Fall Is The Best Fashion Season

Every season has its perks, and I dare say the cliché that I am always ready to "fall In love" with the fall fashion. How could you not love this chilly season and all the comfortable yet cute layers you can fall for? Here are five of my favorite fall go tos:

1. Sweaters, sweaters, and more sweaters

There is no denying that throwing on a cozy sweater with some leggings will make your day that much better. And being able to rock a comfy oversized sweater can be completely comfortable yet still look like you could rock a runway. It also makes the decision in the morning of what to wear that much easier.

2. Boots and thigh highs

I personally cannot wait to wear my boots again, and I know I am not the only one. Keeping the toes warm with a cute pair of boots and some thigh-high knitted socks while wearing a flowing dress -- it doesn't get much better than that! Even if you aren't feeling the full-on boot just yet, you can go for the cute little booties to spice up any outfit.

3. Fall colors

I am not a bright-colored kind of gal. I love my neutrals and I love my browns, blacks and creams. So when the fall season comes around, I can't wait to bust out my favorite colors and match the leaves.

4. Scarves

The best part about scarves is that they can take a totally plain outfit and just add that perfect amount of color to make your outfit either pop or seem complete. Plus, they keep you warm, so it's a win-win.

5. Layers.

Layers are probably the best part about fall. You can still wear dresses, but also add a big sweater on top. Layer your shirts with collared shirts underneath. Whatever you want, do it, because you will stay warm and look cute. If you get too hot, you can take it right off!

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

What is "talking?" How does one "talk?"

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
