Fall Scene

Do not get me wrong here, summer is my favorite season. Fall, on the other hand is a close second. I love, love, love everything about fall. The trees change color, the apples are in season and the clothes are just perfect. Here are my Fall Fashion must haves.

1. Make sure you get yourself, an amazing, soft, flannel scarf. A lot of places are selling blanket scarfs that are super soft and cuddly and when the weather gets colder, these will make sure you stay cute and warm. Not to mention they double as a blanket, it's really a great purchase for this transitioning season.

2. Next on the list is a olive green multi-purpose jacket. This amazing material can be worn for warmth, for rain, or even just for how cute it is on its own. Every skin tone, hair color and body shape look amazing in this style.

3. Who doesn't love an amazing chunky heel? This beautiful color, as well as any neutral brown or gray will look perfect with just about anything else you put with it. Leggings? Yep! Jeans? Yep! Even a dress. You can style these to be casual or dressy just depending on everything else you would like to wear with it. The material says winter but the cut says summer. They are the perfect in-between shoe for a night out in this weather.

4. Loose Dresses are Finally in STYLE! Thank heavens that the tight dress phase is mostly over. Do not get me wrong if you can rock a tight dress, you go! But for me this loose fitting dress looks amazing on so many more sizes. This is a staple of every closet that will go with just about anything else you would like to wear. This is super easy to wear and style. Throw on a dress, its loose its comfortable, and not to mention it is down to the bone adorable.

5. Who doesn't love a good boyfriend jean. I know I would wear these every single day. Pair these bad boys with a loose T, or a tight T, they are so completely comfortable you will feel so confident in them. Wear them when its sunny with a tank, or with a sweater when the tempter drops. Either way these jeans will keep your style fresh and trendy, without making you feel overly dressy.

6. Everyone chant with me! SLOUCHY SWEATER!!!! SLOUCHY SWEATER!!! This is the greatest purchase ever. A giant sweater pairs with anything, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Wear them with jeans, wear them with dresses, wear them with yoga pants! Who cares!? Neutral colored, over sized sweaters! In the wise words of the cast of Parks and Recreation, "TREAT YO SELF".

7. This is a fall must have! Who doesn't love a good flannel while apple picking or out late at a bon fire??? Grab a comfy tee and a nice pair of skinny jeans, and you have yourself an amazing simple outfit for any activity imaginable.

8. Last but not least, accessories! Don't forget a beautiful statement piece to throw your entire outfit together! These stones are very in style this year and can really put that extra shine to a dull cloudy day! It doesn't have to be a necklace either! Feel free to wear a bracelet or ring too if it makes you feel confident!

The most important part about styling yourself for Fall is how you feel in your clothes! Do not let anyone tell you that an outfit is not your style, because the keyword in that statement its YOUR! Love yourself and love your body and don't forget to pick a pumpkin and enjoy the beautiful scenery that is Fall.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
