As fall comes around, so does the greatest time of year (you can't fight me on it). It's sweater weather, hot chocolate weather, cuddle weather, comfort food weather, ect. There's so much stuff that you can do... and you don't have to do it alone! If you have yourself a bad, then fall is the perfect time to start doing some cute autumn-themed activities. Earlier, I made a bucket list for couples that was more revolved around summer activities, with a few winter outliers. So, I thought it was only appropriate to make one themed for Fall. So, lo' and behold... The Ultimate Couples Fall/Winter-Themed Bucket List.

1. Go to a pumpkin patch.

2. Both of you buy your own pumpkin and then decorate it however you want. Have someone judge whose looks better; go out to dinner after and loser pays.

3. Have a snowball fight.

4. Go out to vote together. Haha. Do It. Please vote. Send help to America.

5. Rake the leaves together, then jump in the big piles.

6. Go to a corn maze.

7. Have a scary movie marathon.

8. Go apple picking.

9. Make caramels apples with the apples you got apple picking.

10. Or an apple pie.

11. Have a fall photoshoot

12. Go on a hay ride.

13. Make seasonal cookies - you know, those awesome Pillsbury pumpkin, tree and ghost cookies for the fall/winter, God bless them.

14. Drive around and look at all the pretty fall colors and Christmas lights. Optional: bring hot chocolate to drink.

15. Have a picnic out by all the pretty colors, I'd suggest doing this in early October before it gets too cold.

16. Play one-on-one football in the yard.

17. Build a pillow and blanket fort and spend the whole day cuddling.

18. Go to a couple's Halloween party, and have awesome matching costumes.

19. Attend a fall festival/carnival.

20. Make your house look awesome for Halloween, and have the best candy on the block to impress trick-or-treaters.

21. Watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

22. Don't go shopping on Thanksgiving, the deals will still be there on Black Friday, enjoy your friends and family on Thanksgiving.

23. Watch the full Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, you won't regret it; it's so entertaining.

24. Roast s'mores by a bonfire.

25. Try some fall DIYs from Pinterest, make sure to take pictures to one laugh at your failures.

26. Watch Christmas movies, like Elf or National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

27. Go to the dollar store and have find each other gifts with a $10 limit each.

28. Go ice skating

29. Raid the store for candy on sale the day after Halloween.

30. Learn a soup recipe, and make it together. Or, don't even look one up and come up with a recipe from stuff in your cabinets.

Happy fall, y'all!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
