Fall is literally around the corner and I'm super excited. As soon as it starts to get cold outside, I immediately grab my cutest bomber jacket and start lighting up the pumpkin spice candles from Bath and Body Works. Here are some fall essentials that will help you prepare for the upcoming season.

1. Warm Candles

My favorite candle scents come around during the fall time. Candles are the key to making the next few months "lit" literally. The essence and aroma of the spices make me feel happy and warm inside.

2. Movies

One of my favorite things to do is binge watch Halloween/horror, or Christmas with either my friends or family. A movie night will do good if you're bored this Fall. So grab some popcorn, light the candles, and get your blankets because Reform is going to start playing the Halloween reruns soon!

3. Warm Drinks

Did you know that Starbucks has a secret menu? The secret menu comes in handy for the cold weather. I like to sip coffee or hot chocolate while doing my homework or just to keep me warm when its windy and rainy outside.

4. Sweaters, Scarves, and Beanies (Oh My!)

I don't know about you, but my coset is filled with sweaters. I have more sweaters than summer tops. The best time to go shopping is when it gets cold because you can just layer your coats and sweaters and add a scarf.

5. Fall Time Playlist

Grab the old record player or your beats and chill out with Jazzy tunes. Music is key to Fall. sounds weird, but certain songs remind me of cold weather. Mostly Jazz or acoustic music. Whether you're feeling good or down, music has a way of letting us feel relaxed.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
