How will you spend this fall season?

The time has finally come for the leaves to change color, laying in a pumpkin patch, drinking apple cider and of course drink PSLs: The Fall season is here. I have created a list of activities to get the most out of the season

1. Go to a Football game

While I have only been to a handful of games, there is nothing like Game Day. I did not tailgate but, seeing everyone wearing their school's colors, cheering (and sometimes booing) for their team made me feel like a Rice Owl at their Homecoming Game this past Saturday.

2. Shop for Fall

It may not be freezing but it is starting to get chilly. Buying some sweaters, scarves, and a new pair of riding boots would definitely help you stay warm (and on trend).

3. Go to a Pumpkin Patch

One of my favorite activities during this time of year is visit a Pumpkin Patch. They are typically held on a farm and host other activities such as a corn maze, hayrides and even Ziplining at Dewberry Farm's Pumpkin Patch.

4. Attend the Renaissance Festival

Every October, Texas has a Renaissance Festival. I have never gone before but plan to next fall. There's food, "fights", games and more. There's also a lot of dressing up.

April Ludgate
Facebook

April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation is notorious for her "I don't care" attitude. She speaks her mind without caring what anyone thinks of her. Fans love her because she isn't afraid to be herself. April can seem cold and negative, but she's really just fearless and strong-minded. And despite her sometimes harsh words, April truly cares about the people she's closest to. These are all reasons she is the epitome of a college student. April complains whenever she has to do any kind of work, but ends up doing the work anyway. April Ludgate is the ultimate college student spirit animal.
