With summer coming to an end, that only means one thing-- fall is here, and it's time to get in the mood. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. From Halloween to football season there's so much to do, so here's the best bucket list for the fall season.
1. Go to a haunted house
Halloween is a big part of fall, so why not go all out and go to a haunted house? Head to a haunted house or just a spooky place to get into the spirit of Halloween.
2. Pick out a pumpkin
Going to a pumpkin patch and picking out your favorite pumpkin with your family or friends is a great way to spend a fall day. Spend the rest of the day by letting your inner artist out by carving or painting your pumpkin.
3. Make your own Halloween costume
Choosing a Halloween costume is fun, but sometimes it can be a bit boring selecting from the rack. Get creative and pick a unique Halloween costume that you can make yourself. Bonus points for coordinating group costumes with your friends.
4. Grab a coffee and take a long walk
Fall is a beautiful season, with all the vibrant colors and different smells. Grab a coffee and take a long walk to admire all the color of the leaves before it gets too cold outside.
5. Have a bonfire
Gather up your friends and roast some s'mores while keeping warm by the fire. You can trade ghost stories to get more into the Halloween spirit.
6. Go to a football tailgate and game
Since I attend a large football fanatic school, fall means that it's time to pull out your tailgating gear. Eat some great food and get ready for the game with your friends. Then watch some great football and root for your team.
7. Host a Halloween party
Throw your own Halloween party this year! You can decorate your place any way you want. Have a costume contest, and make up your own on theme games.
8. Watch some spooky movies
If you loved being scared, fall is the perfect time to watch some horror movies (especially Halloween themed ones). However, if you're like me and you don't like watching horror movies, you can still watch some classic Halloween movies like "Hocus Pocus" or "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
9. Walk through a corn maze
Getting lost in a corn maze was a part of my childhood that I looked forward to every year. I loved venturing through it, trying to find various spots. Take your family and friends with you and see how fast you can complete the maze.
10. Go fall shopping
Since it's time to trade in your shorts and tank tops for sweaters, you may as well have fun with it, and treat yourself to some new clothes. Buy some stylish fall outfits that are perfect for all the other fall activities you have planned.
