College football season is one of the main reasons I look forward to fall.

2. Pumpkins

It's that time of the year when pumpkins pop up on all our neighbors' doorsteps.

3. Cozy sweaters

Big, comfy sweaters that literally hug you throughout your day are always something to look forward to.

4. Bath & Body Works candles

"Pumpkin Spice Marshmallow"? I'll take three, please!

5. Food

Warm soups and toasty home-cooked meals are the best during cold weather.

6. Holidays

Holidays such as Halloween and Thanksgiving give us something to look forward to.

7. Leaves

I always look forward to vibrant-colored, crunchy leaves under my feet.

8. Fireplaces

Snuggling up next to a fireplace at home is so relaxing and a reason to look forward to colder weather.

9. A fresh start

A new school year means a new start! Begin this year with new goals and intentions!

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
