Is Your Industry Full Of SCAMMERS?

In This Article:

IS YOUR INDUSTRY FULL OF SCAMMERS? I KNOW MINE IS.

It is full of self-proclaimed gurus who will tell you what you have to hear instead of being honest about how the whole thing of being visible online works, how much time it takes and how much dedication, hard work and pure faith it takes to get to that place of freedom and security.

Are you surprised? Did you think that having a business is going to be comfortable and you can do it "on a side" of your life?

I have some refreshing news for you, and THIS is what separates me from those thousands of scammers that are only after one thing – your money.

Building a business is going to take over your life for a while. It is so hard, you will have to commit to it full-heartedly as if your life depends on it.
You will have to focus on pushing through your resistances to connect to strangers, to have conversations, and more importantly what is needed for any business – have sales conversations at some point, because without that – you will have NO MONEY!

You will have to get used to feeling uncomfortable and exposed because you need to build your audience online. It is even harder than doing it offline, but of course, it has a much more rewarding prize! But without being seen by people who need you, how can you grow your business. Especially since people spend more time on screens than socialising with each other face to face these days. You may not be one of them, but this is a global fact.

Best marketing advice is to look for people you want in your business in the places those people hang out. This is why we have so many ads on the telly and beyond.

So the only way to get visible in this noise of voices is to grow your audience continuously, but in a way that connects them emotionally, builds trust and adds authority to your name.

And this takes time. There just are NO shortcuts.

I know strategists who have made their 7-figure businesses telling people to grow their list with questionable strategies and then people even with 20K list make minuscule sales if any at all. Why? Because people on their lists do not REALLY get to know them. So they do not care. There is no connection.

To me, it is another form of hiding.

I know strategists who make money by teaching poor dreamers to run ads on Facebook, without even stressing out how important it is to know the person they are targeting REALLY well. You simply cannot just target women over 40 to sell mindfulness courses that are focused around movement. Not all people are even remotely interested in that. I know, I am not, and I am well over 40! (Yes, I know it is hard to believe, but it is the truth!)

And I know people throwing money away not just on ads, but to pay those strategists to manage them and get no ROI at all.

Again, to me, it is the form of hiding!

I have learned who my ideal client is ONLY through connecting to people personally, conversations, listening to them and their stories, spending my time to find out about the person behind the profile picture. And I can easily say who I attract into my programs: animal lovers, who are into personal development and highly spiritual ( that can come in any shape or form from religious to being really into Law of Attraction). These people also have something that they lived through in their childhood or early adulthood that really challenged them, often to the point of breaking) but it did not utterly destroy them- as they decided to rebuild themselves, and now they are determined to do whatever it takes to make ALL their dreams come true.

Now, knowing all that I can attract and I DO attract only ideal clients into my business, who are READY to get my help. (Notice that none of the above had to do with their businesses. THIS is what knowing your ideal client means, but it takes time and conversations to get to learn these things so deeply.

So while those scammers make money on playing on people's ignorance, I want to ask you something.

Do you REALLY think building your business or showing up to be seen online can be easy?

The answer is no and if you disagree or do not want to hear it, please unsubscribe from my emails, leave my group and block me on Facebook.

But if you are READY, let me help you with my transformational (on more than one level) 11-day Live Video Challenge that starts again next week. It is more than just overcoming the fear of being on camera or practising being consistent and gaining momentum – people sign up for various reasons. It is about the COMMITMENT to doing whatever it takes to succeed. Ready to step closer to your dream life?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
