Failure is the beginning of a new start

Failure Leads To Success
From The Committed Heart

Ever since I was in my teens, I’ve tried as much as I can to be successful, just like everyone tries to be. I had attempted many different majors after high school and I always push myself to do the best I can with everything; however, I have failed so many times. It is easy to imagine where one wants to be, but the reality is not as simple as the imagination. In real life, we always come across the unexpected: we could be let down by certain people or feel like the world is working against us making our life choices seem hectic. We experience unexpected changed in our lives all the time and they make us feel like failures because most of the time we are not ready for a sudden change.

In human nature, feeling unsatisfied with one self is normal. Humans are not perfect and when you feel like you have not accomplished your goals it means that you are the kind of person that does not settle for less. You want to be all that you can be and you will keep retrying until you come to the point where the puzzle is solved. Living with a realization that failure is not the end is the key point. As Doctor A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said “if you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means “First Attempt In Learning.”” So failing is really a chance to restart, a chance to know that what you failed at is not for you and helps you learn to try new life. Failing helps you learn and move on to something new.

When we experience failure, we come to a belief that it’s the end. We become so negative and even feel the sadness in our hearts. I have failed and have felt down an infinite number of times and I believe everyone goes through this same life habit. Nothing feels worse than feeling like it’s the end because when something ends that we had so much hope in succeeding at, we see it as the last shot that will ever be thrown in our face again, but it should not be so. When you start something new it’s helpful to think of the outcome as a successful outcome and as a not so good outcome too. Preparing yourself for both good and bad is going to make your life more durable and you will be more adaptive with whatever the results will turn out to be. Stay focused on all that happens in your life because “end is not the end, if fact E.N.D. means “Effort Never Dies”,” as Doctor Kalam said. The effort that you put on something you failed at will never go to waist. You will learn from it and use it for your next life steps.

Whatever happens, stay focused on being ready for anything. Be prepared for any results as an outcome, and be positive at all times. Failing is a sign for you to start a new beginning and is giving you another opportunity to go look for what’s right for you. Don’t focus on how many times you have failed, instead let the number of times your failed represents the things that you don’t have to try again because you already did and now you have new things to try. Doctor Kalam stated that“if you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means “Next Opportunity”.” So be open to new opportunities and be thankful that you get new opportunities every time.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
