We have all been in this situation. After working your hardest and giving everything you have, you still do not find the success you wanted. Whether it is a test, a paper, a workout or something in a different area of life, it hurts all the same. The heavy feeling of disappointment weighs you down and crushes you.

It hurts when you give something your all and it's still not enough.

You may even truly know, deep down, that there was nothing more you could have done. You may have truly given it your best effort and still failed. You may start to believe you are not good enough and that you will never find success. In this moment, your self-confidence is at an all-time low.

But, you need to remember this will pass. The bitter disappointment you feel right now is a lesson. This closed door is probably to move your attention to the right one that is already open. All you need to do is look around and find your door.

Something out there is just waiting for you to discover it; you just need to find what you were made to do.

If you find yourself constantly giving your all and continuing to fail, it may just be a sign that you have not found your true calling yet.

Keep looking until you find whatever it is that lets you succeed.

But in the meantime, don’t let failure get you down. Everyone fails at some point and nobody is perfect. You are not the only person who has ever struggled.

If you fail and know in your heart that you did your best, then maybe it is simply a lesson showing you that you need to keep searching for what you are good at. I promise there is something out there waiting for you to give it a shot.

Sometimes, failing is actually a good thing. It is a lesson that what we may think we are meant to do is not actually true. Failure can sometimes teach us things about ourselves that success cannot.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out.
