Lindsay is the one of the few celebrities that put out multiple albums. How? Good question, I'm not sure either. Her first album, "Speak", has a pop-rock feel to it. The album is horrible but has vocals that are similar but to Hilary Duff. You can clearly tell that she has had no formal training. Lindsay's vocals are all over the place, as if she just walked into the recording studio and winged all of these songs. There's no sure or confident emotion in her songs.
Paris is right next to Lindsay in the line-up because she ALSO put out multiple albums. WHO WAS FUNDING THESE ALBUMS?! In Paris's song, "Heartbeat", there are no vocals of her own. If you love a song of just back-up singers and auto-tune, this is the song for you. Throw in the part where she speaks the line, "My heart beats like a drum when you come", and you have yourself one disaster of a song. Not to mention, the music video is horrendous - the acting, the singing, the storyline, all of it. She also tried to start a DJ career after this which was a failure of epic proportion - I guess she ran out of daddy's money.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Tyra Banks but her song, "Shake Ya Body" just makes her seem like a Beyonce poser. It's a given that she totally isn't a Beyonce poser. but this song is proof that people should stick to what they know best and for Tyra, that is modeling. Her songs were actually somewhat popular when they came out but very quickly died out and for good reasons.
Okay, if there is one thing that irks me, it's Kim Kardashian. Does anyone really know why she is famous other than a sex tape? Her song, Jam (Turn It Up), is as fake as her butt implants. You can tell it is EXTREMELY auto-tuned and covered up by the club-like beat in the background. This song is not good enough to be 2 minutes, let alone 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Well... there is definitely something to be said about Shaq's album, "The Best of Shaquille O'Neal". My advice for him would be, "KEEP YOUR DAY JOB". Most of his album has an old-school late 90's to early 2000's feel to it which is all fine and dandy but, unlike other rappers from that time, his voice lacks the rhythm and flow that his competition has. Shaq - stick to the game you know best!
I think we can all agree that these celebs should stick to their day jobs and do what they do best! Expanding their horizons in this case did not do them any good.
