Today I noticed a facebook friend share a status talking about the media portraying Donald Trump as someone he really isn't. This survey of public opinion can encourage a group-think mentality because of the ability to read past comments and be swayed by the overall voice of the majority.

Polling, outside of social media buzzing, is actually an essential tool for government and the way elections are run. By the author writing this post, he is really just implementing poll reporting distortion! With a little more research on the person who posted this status, you can see that this conservative Facebook page obviously supports Donald Trump. They write and share many different articles and opinions on the candidate and have a very large following of people. By completely ignoring a poll done by a credible news source, NBC News, and by creating a polls to try and portray Trump in positive light, by reaching out to your huge amount of followers who already support Trump, there is a big problem! David Hill is trying to create a "unbias" poll by asking his huge amount of conservative female followers who they are voting for.
I am not saying all polls on social media are skewed, but this type of makeshift polls through a facebook status update in no way represents what women across the nation feel about Donald Trump.
